Season 3: Class-Based Educational Disparity
Episode 1 - Equal Education for All?
As we venture into our third series, we take a look at how classism affects our school system. Adults constantly reference the behavior or today's kids and continually complain about their use of technology and what they learn from tv and social media. In those moments, do we consider what kids are learning inside the classroom as well? Are kids really receiving similar educations? Are they being giving the foundation for a successful future? Do we care as long as our kids receive what they need? This episode will get you started, but you definitely need to stay around for this eye-opening series.

Episode 3 - The New Millennium of Politics
Emmy award winning and Peabody award recipient Rob Yoon talks to us about his view of political parties and the political divide. Oddly enough, he defines one specific point that put us on a trajectory to today's form of governing where compromise is avoided. Listen to when it started and how you can create a government that works together.
Episode 2 - Voting By a Coin Flip
Andy Zook was a staunch Republican strategist who was at the forefront of capturing and applying voter analytics to political campaigns. Long before robocalls were a standard strategy, his ability to collect data and use it for campaigns was in demand, he even considered running for office himself. However, seeing politics up close changed his opinion, so much that he voted for the 2008 political election by flipping a coin several years after changing his affiliation to Independent. You need to hear what drove him to voting by coin flip and why he thinks you should never do it yourself.
Episode 1 - Politics, Parties and the Political Divide
Politics. It’s a dirty word these days. We avoid family holidays, ignore calls and steer directly to boring conversations about weather just so we don’t have to talk about it. Yet, many of us have an opinion and thought. We talk about how we feel with our friends, because they think like us. It’s another example of how we’ve reached a point of allowing an ism to separate us. In season 2, the Open Windows Culture Podcast focuses on political parties, what we need to know about them and how to overcome party limitations and change the system that has created how they function.
